	Eliza Carthy - www.eliza-carthy.com I'm really pleased to be supporting WaterAid's Big National Ceilidh. It's a great idea for an event, combining community spirit and traditional music with a great cause. I would encourage anyone who is in a ceilidh band, does a bit of calling, or knows a good venue to get involved. Just £15 can make a big difference to people living without safe water or sanitation, so the impact this event could have could be huge!

It's excellent to bring traditional music back to the community and a ceilidh is such an enjoyable social event. We will be hosting a ceilidh ourselves in Newcastle as part of the event. Please join ours or if you're a little too far away, host one of your own! Safe water and sanitation is so vital for development of the world's poorest communities and we encourage everyone to raise as much money as possible and have fun at the same time!

WaterAid is a fantastic charity with a very worthwhile and fundamental cause: to transform lives by improving access to safe water, hygiene and sanitation in the world's poorest communities. 	The Shee - www.theshee.com We The Shee are delighted to support WaterAid's Big National Ceilidh. What a great way to raise funds for such a worthwhile cause. We will be in the middle of a tour but the 16th October is one of our nights off so we'll be hitting the dance floor at our nearest ceilidh for sure! As well as supporting this fantastic charity, for anyone that's not been, a ceilidh's a great night out with the added bonus of a good workout! Find your nearest venue and get dancing!

Clean drinking water is such a basic human requirement and once the basic building blocks of life are in place other areas of our lives are able to flourish and grow. We should all be working together until every person on the planet has access to it. To raise money with dancing and music seems to me to be a suitably celebratory way to bring the good news of clean drinking water to the people who need it.
